Couchtisch von Rogier Vandeweghe für Amphora, 1950er
This one-off coffee table by the Belgian artist Rogier Vandeweghe was produced in his own ceramic workshop located in Bruges in the mid 1950s. The hand-formed tiles are finished with a chromium red glaze. The firing of this specific color required a very precise temperature, as over-heating would turn the glaze to black. The table has a nice wooden frame and four black metal legs.
